This summer, we have many groups coming to work in Brightmoor – from the Metro Area, and from all around Michigan, as well as other states!  We have already hosted youth groups from Kansas and Wisconsin though our Methodist connections, and now have some Catholic Youth Groups at work from Iowa and Ohio though Young Neighbors in Action.    Not to mention all the groups that are showing up from around the Detroit area to help for a day or two.  We are so grateful for all the help and the difference we are able to make because of all these volunteers.

Here is a short video highlighting what kind of work people are doing.  It features some youth and adults from Rhinelander Wisconsin, Pastor Jeff’s home church!

SUMMER READING
Mondays from 9:30 – 12 noon – Elementary School aged kids are welcome for this time of reading, crafts, snacks and games. Free!

CREATIVE KIDS CAMP
Wednesday June 18 -Friday June 20
12:30 – 4 pm Kids of all ages are welcome to paint, draw, dance, sing and ring! Learn all kinds of things and be part of the showcase Friday from 4 to 5 pm. $5 per child.

BOOK MOBILE (starts June 24th)
Tuesdays from 2 – 3:30 pm at the mobile home park at Plymouth Road and Hemmingway
Thursdays from 2 – 3:30 pm at Fisher Elementary School Crosley Circle
Come hear a story, and borrow some books!

WORKSHOP OF WONDERS – VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Monday August 4 – Friday August 8
Kids entering K – 8th grade are welcome to participate in our annual VBS program. We meet for 5 evenings from 6 – 8:30 pm.
