On June 22, we are having a work day at West Outer Drive and can use all kinds of help! There are outside and inside jobs and all are welcome. We’ll work from 9 am – 12 noon and share some lunch.

2 pm – Redford Aldersgate
Candlelight and Communion in our Chapel
If you have plans later in the day or prefer to come to service before its dark, join us at 2 pm.
4 pm – West Outer Drive Campus
All are welcome to celebrate the day with a service lead by Pastor Frederick.
5 pm – Redford Aldersgate
Family Service including our kid’s pageant “T’was the Very First Christmas”
Join us for this delightful telling of the Christmas story featuring our children, as well as a message from Pastor Jeff.
8 pm – Redford Aldersgate
Candlelight and Communion in our Sanctuary
Join us for a traditional candlelit service lead by Pastor Jeff and our Chancel Choir.

On Saturday Oct 6, our UMC Renaissance District sent 1000 volunteers out around Detroit to 20 worksites to make a difference. Our West Outer Drive neighborhood was one of the sites and we had volunteers from Redford Aldersgate, West Outer Drive, New Beginnings, Birmingham First, Newburg and Britton UMC’s. We were able to clean up lots, gather tires for Cass, board up three houses and paint the boards. What a great day!
